Damn line let's go

this isn't a line hating thread, I'm planning on buying lines this year. I'm just complaining/pointing out that line isn't even shipping their shit over to the US till oct 1st. I know it's not like I need my skis RIGHT NOW! But it'd be nice to get 'em cuz if they dont get to the US by oct 1st then realistically it could be into sept before you get them from the shop and get them mounted up which is cuttin it kinda close considering that they are this years skis and pretty much all the other companies are already in. I guess it's good that they are taking their time and whatnot instead of making crappy stuff and I'm not about to write to them to complain or anything I mostly just though that I'd let everyone else know who is lookin to buy or has preordered some lines.

Oh and this was from the guy at my shop who called line and asked them while I was standing right there so unless the guy at line lied to my shop its true.

I like the Chronic Blends too.

At Fresh here in Calgary they have some of the new lines in. They've got the invaders, anthems, and chronics, probably more too now.

I've been thinkin about the blends but now I'm leaning more towards the anthems just to throw caution to the wind and see how they are. If they manage to get the usual line durability into such a fun cheap ski that would be amazing

I want to say those are pre-production/prototype style models, and not the final production model...happened last season with the invaders I believe....can't say for certain though.

its been october 1st-15th for two years now, who cares the snows not on the ground yet. you wanna sleep with your skis or something.
it takes a long time for the china men to build the skis then they have to paddle on the paddle boat all the way around the world to America. then you get your skis they break and you get another pair. and repeat.

-its worth the wait isn't it...

well where'd you here that cuz this was straight from line to a dealer, do you work for them or somethin? cuz in that case my bad but otherwise I'm pretty sure its the 1st.

and I'd be lying if I said I didn't play with my skis on the carpet in my living room quite frequently before it snows, I'm not sayin it's an emergency or anything it's just less sales for them from kids who go to the shop to buy their shit early and the lines aren't in so the salesman just shows them something comprable. As I said though I am still buying them so this isn't a line hating thread. And I dunno about you but if my skis aren't mounted and sitting my lap the first time the word snow is mentioned in the weather forecast I'm gonna freak out.

in the shop that work in, were stocking things slowly right now just because its in between seasons. We've had our boots in for over a week, you just have to ask a salesman, because chances are there in the back.

The SPK shipment is expected to arrive in late September. Only about 50 pairs are in the country right now. Salomon is almost sold out of the SPK boot already.
