I have sponsors. I just don't know if I can go build a huge ass booter in the BC then have like a chill skier run set up without having to do something about Liability. Its just Gunna be like 10 bucks to enter then there will be some stuff like PHD said they would give me a pair of skiis and then some smaller stuff from other shops, then we will split the Pot from the entree fees to the top 3 or something. I just need to know about liability. Other then that I am good. Can people just sign a waiver?

You need to contact the forrest service first to find a site, look for parking problems and a place for people to chill out, you will need to get waivers from everybody who steps on the hill. I can ask around at my job about special use recreation permits for the forrest but the destruction part will be tough. Talk to the empire freeride guys out of Red lodge, they have had a good bc comp in 2003.

you might run into problems having it on forest land. look for private land or unused ski area leased land
