So in the winter I make snow on my front hill and ussually make a small kicker on it. Yes I do that thing called home snowmaking. So I decided to put some of my vidoes of making the snow on youtube. Here it is:

If any of you want to learn how to make snow either join the cult which doesnt have much information or go to http://www.snowguns.com/eve/forums snowguns.com has a TON of information about snowmaking and you can be making snow from knowing nothing in less than a week.

I made snow in the videos the day after a snow storm thats why it looks that way. Believe me I need the snow, I live on long island and we get less than 20 inches of snow a year.

so was your "air" setup on bottom and your water setup on top? did that work well?

My water was blowing out of the top nozzle but the water was pressurized water running through a power washer. And through the bottom nozzle I had air and water. The water gets into the bottom nozzle because there is a valve in the middle of the gun which allows water to drop into the air pipes. The ratio though of air to water running out of the bottom nozzle is about a 3:1 air to water ratio.

can u just use water under high pressure if u don't want to use air and u only need a lil snow cuz thats what i;m thinking of doing.. think it will work

Nope, you can't just use high pressurized water because the water needs a nucleus to form and the air splits up the water molecules so that they are able to freeze. Pressurized water will just fall onto your hill as slush. If you want to do it check out www.snowguns.com The guys over there are extremely helpful and the site has in depth beginner guides on what to do and how to do it.

As for the price, it costed me around $250 for my setup but for a very basic t-gun which has alright output but not optimal output it will only cost you $150 for an air compressor and piping.
