Anyone drive a new Frontier

I'm thinking of buying a used '05 Frontier and was wondering if anyone has experience with these trucks. I've got a 200 Ford ranger right now and it just has no power at all going up hills and stuff. I'd really like to get into something with a butt load of power like the Frontier and I've heard good things.

you might also want to consider an 05 tacoma.

^ I knew some one would say that but I've read tons of reviews and a lot of them actually put the Frontier ahead of the Tacoma especially off road. Also the Frontier has more horsepower and a lower resale value, which means I can get a comperable truck for less money.

I testdrove the 05 Frontier NISMO and really loved it. Took it on a pretty tough snowcovered course around the ski hill and it performed great. Now the stock Fronty has a little less power but should handle fine.
If you plan on doing any offroad try and find one with an LSD, will make your life so much better.
I have been a fan of Nissan for a while now and on my 3rd Pathfinder.
Also make sure you get a thorough inspection, chances are the guy before you thought he could wheel too and may be some unseen damage so just be carefull.

But also think of it this way. If you get a 'Yota, the resale value is higher, so you'll get more of your initial investment back. Plus, the new Tacoma's have 230+hp out of the V6. Realistically that's plenty of horse.

Yeah but I don't really plan on selling this truck anytime soon. I'm looking to get exactly what I want and to keep it for a long time if possible. Also 265 horsepower would just be rad and it's a 4 liter V6 just like the Toyota. I could smoke all the little ricers around town.
Oh and to other guy the stock Frontier has the same power as the Nismo. The only one that has less power is the 2 wheel drive XE model which isn't really even an option.
