27.5 and 27 are almost exactly the same size.

its the same size shell, the only difference is the liner. So you could just put in some shims or a footbed to fill up the extra space.

wouldnt a foot bed to fill up the space be completely pointless and a waste. the only way i can picture it is to make your foot flatter which would defeat the purpose of orthotics there would be no arch support. maybe im missing the point and there is a way. just seems alittle peculiar but who knows. i could be completly wrong

its not even the liner, its the footbed.

the footbed in the 27 is thicker than the 27.5, so in the shop they feel different, but when you ride them and they pack out, they are the same size.
