For me it has to be the Flaming Lips. The music was great and there was so much going on (screens, balloons, confetti, Wayne Coyne in his own balloon). In second place comes Kings of Leon, who play with tons of energy and make every person in the crowd believe its 1976 and they're drunk.
Pearl Jam (sat at the gorge was good this year)
Damian Marley
and Holy Ghost Revival puts on a good show (for the Seattle/BI locals who may have heard)
finally someone who knows what i'm talking about. if you ever have the chance to see them live DO NOT MISS IT. They have the most energy ever and just everything about it is amazing
i saw PJ open for tom petty and i was so disappointed, i think they were all drunk because ive heard a lot of their live stuff and this was pretty shitty compared to that.
ok so here are some good bands live i've seen:
Alexisonfire
protest the hero
rise against
Against me
The johnsons
Boys night out
Rosesdead
afi
less than jake
NOFX
the casulties
and i think theres more, but i cant remember them...
boys night out^^^ someone said way up there....are you kidding me? unless you are talking like 4-5 years ago, you must be deaf. ive seen them a couple of times in the last couple of years, and i havent lasted more than 2 songs in, they arent even trying anymore. they just kept screwing up and laughing about it.
anyway....some of the best live bands ive seen....lion of judah, risky business, and agnostic front
Best live band that I've seen is: Machine Head
Bands that I've heard are good: Slayer, Killswitch Engage
Bands that I'll never be able to see live: Pantera \m/
The Beautiful Girls in Tofina BC. Super tiny maybe 100 people. it was mindblowing. what made it the best was we didnt have tickets and we lucked out by offering the band manager cash for tix and he let us in for free. we chilled with the band and got free drinks.
