There's another thread but I didn't wanna hijack it. I'm 5'8 155. I currently have prophet 100's in 186 and fugis in 169. I want to use the skis as an inbetween ski. light powder days, quick hike outta the resort, crud, bumps, trees. More of an all around ski when i'm not strickly in the park or touring outside the area. i do most of my skiing in fernie so there's not much grooming and plenty of snow. thanks.

I agree for your height and weight go for the Lizzies.
But you say you want to use it for skiing bumps I think both of them suck in the bumps just to wide.

defintely elizabeths according to freeskier you can't ski the bacon well anywhere but backcountry everyone is saying that they're gonna be too short but the width makes up for that

^thats crap. Freeskier doesn't know. Bacon's would be fun anywhere... and if I can ski the stiff ass 130's in the park and trees I sure as heck take take a smaller floppier ski through them.

I'm sure that you probably might be able to ride the bacons in places besides the backcountry but because of your size ur gonna have more fun on the lizzies

I'm gonna say Lizzie, everyone here is saying they will be too small...I call bullshit, Pollard rides them all over the place, so I'm pretty sure you would be okay on them, you're not going to sink or anything, plus they have a tighter turning radius which makes them more fun to play with in the trees, and since you did say trees was something you wanted to ride with them, all the better, and don't expect either to be good in the bumps, they are too soft and too wide for bumps, but seriously...if you're out riding bumps on the Bacons or the Lizzies...you should ask yourself why you have them in the first place. Everyone just says the Bacons cause they are so hyped up this year, and I'm sure they are a great ski, but for your height and weight, I'd go with the Lizzies.

ya lizzies it is. i won't really be searching out zipper line or anything but you never know what you run into on the mountain. Next question is........ where should i mount them for all mountain performance and the occasional foray into the park.

maybe +1.5 forward of recommended.. or -3 back from center. Something like that. 1-1.5 cm doesn't make a huuge difference.

Dont want to steal your thread but just curious i'm lighter and taller than him, also considering the same skis but with 186 mtx pros and same fuji's. Just these will be for pow and trees and most everyday skiing. Some bc for sure.
