i can ski
im with my friends all the time
snow is so fun
alot less reasons to get in trouble

i love skiing more than anything but i don't think it's enough to make me say i like winter better.  maybe if i got more than 2 days a year skiing i'd like it better.  but as for summer, that means more travel and beach for me, which equals more girls in less clothing.  when school starts i'll be seeing the same people everyday and have no change, where as in summer im constantly going other places and meeting new people.  hopefully if i go to school out west, i'll realize why winter is better.

why summer is better:

1) you dont have to put clothes on to go outside
2) you can grab your skateboard and be on your way
3) you can drive fast and not haev to worry about skidding into a snowbank
4) excellent time to go swimming and get a tan
5) you can sleep in your boxers and be comfortable

ill agree with those that think summer is better.... BUT i think its only good for about a month and then it gets old, but with winter it never gets old adn by winter i mean skiiing

winter would be the most homosexual season ever if it wasnt for skiing. think about it.... the days are super short, everyone has school. everyone gets slighty depressed because of the lack of sunlight, all girls are wearing a bunch of clothes, you have to take 5 mins to get ready to go out (when its reallly cold and or snowy) everyone thats not at least 1/5 african ends up looking albino, there cant be any block parties, its harder to light up..... skiing is what makes winter not blow. summer is sooo sick, surfing, skimboarding, wakeboarding, bikinis, bon fires, parties, no school, no bugs after mid july, amusment parks, biking, driving real fuckin fast.....i could go on. the only reason why there is a contest is because of skiing. SKIING OWNS!

everything you just listed doesn't come close to being as cool as skiing..... every sport is lame and is done because there is no snow on the ground.... my list of why summer sucks... no skiing x 4 & you start sweating when you walk outside

Uh, let's see: 90% of all women wearing nothing more than a tiny, thin shirt, accompanied by either a skirt, short shorts, summer dresses, or whatever else to attract male attention. Not to mention the acceptance of wearing bikini tops as everyday clothing.

Or, puffy jackets, long underwear, layer upon layer of restrictive clothing, ultimately delaying the end goal. Not mention stupid fur boots.

Yeeeaah. There's a reason the surf indistry is 10 times bigger than winter sports. But go ahead and keep telling yourself that.

uh, let's see... you can (well maybe not you, but some of us can) take that clothing off of those girls wearing the puffy jackets and see the real deal. sure surfing is bigger i never said it wasn't, but it's still lame in my opinion. go live in hawaii if you love surfing that much. i'll stay in the mountains and keep enjoying skiing & women.
