Replying to Parents and license

Alright, this is my problem. i live in MA, i can get my license in october, but my parents won't let me claiming that if i drive in the winter, i'll kill myself without a doubt. i don't really care as much about driving, i just want the 6 months before i can drive other people to pass, but they still won't allow it. its bullshit and it pisses me off cause everyone i know will have theirs and be able to drive friends by then. i'm gonna be fucking dependent on my girlfriend to drive places, which sucks.

what can i say to get them to go along and get it sooner?
