Underage drinking in BC

Im from Quebec and going to vancouver and staying in UBC in 3 weeks and was wondering how strict the drinking laws are there. Im 16..will i get into bars/clubs or should i not even bother trying.

drinking age is 19.... u will not be allowed to drink in bars. But just like anywhere else in the world, its really not that hard to get underage booze

they are super strict about carding you'll have to get a fake to go out...
