i would be that crazy mofo of a friend who wants to do it, and i don't want big snowblades, i want them almost as tall as me, it's kinda crazy i don't even know what size screws i would use to mount bindings, any ideas though
my two friends did that, they took two snowboards, mounted to bindings sideways, and one rode in front one in the back, and they made it from top to bottom
Oh yeah, his pink/red ones that totally sucked. Well, fat and longer skiboards are on the market this year, no shit, so you might see someone riding something like that this year.
^ yeah true...if he had two different boards with like different sidewalls and stuff he could get jacked...but that would be rediculous if he could pull it off
i'm way too cheap to find matching boards, maybe i'll get the same height, just kidding i'm making sure each board is the same height and the constructions are similar but don't have to be the same. i'm looking for shitty condition boards for cheap cause there's no way i'm gonna be carving anyways
i have two of the exact same boards from when me and my brother snowboarded.I tried to use them as ski's but it never worker as good as i thought. they are just too short. The problem is the only boards that are gonna be long enough are too wide to really ski with.
I did a half ass job with really old bindings and random screws. If they had worked any better and i had actully been able to use them more than a couple times im sure i would have ripped them out. First i just tried to spin the snowboard bingings and use one of each but that didnt work cuz they were in the wrong place.
Yeah, the board's would have to be massively long for even a moderately sized skier, and you would have to be so wide-legged the entire time you would get bowlegged after a day. Mounting monoskis sounds easier at this point, as rare as finding two of the same monoskis would be.
i hope they are skinny snowboards because they will be really wide. also i know some people that have a snowboard company and they tried making skis with the same material and some layering process and the didnt work for shit so you might have that problem too.
