peyote hard to find? peyote is like the easiest drug to find ever, you just go down to the local garden store pick yourslef up a peyote cactus and cook that shit up. the hard part is eating a bowl full of cooked peyote slime.

You're thinking of San Pedro, a common household cactus. Peyote is a totally different story. Takes something like 7 or 15 years (can't remember) to grow a peyote cactus. It is also not sold in local stores like San Pedro. While they both have mescaline in them, peyote also has tons of other tryptamines/phenethylamines that make it a totally different drug experience, so I have heard.

I looked it up, it is 5-15 years for a single Peyote button to cure. The reason it is not sold in stores like San Pedro is because it is one of the few plants specifically named illegal in the U.S., except for the Native American Church.

peyote...wow....I've done some hallucinogens in my day, but I feel like peyote is on a whole different level.
If you feel comfortable dropping a ten-strip and tripping nuts for, say, 14 to maybe 20 hours, then you might be okay. Problem is though, peyote can turn into a multi-day trip, depending on how much is consumed. Personally, there are times in an acid trip when all I want to do is be done with it...the hallucinations get so overwhelming at times that I just want it over with. Peyote is unrelenting. Frankly, I feel like it is something that should never be consumed without some sort of baby sitter.
Oh, and prepare to wretch your guts out a little while after you've consumed.
