'06 Line Invaders -- Questions

Oh yea im about 5,1, 100 pounds, and i ski 50% park, 50% everytthing else
And i ski in quebec...if that help at all

they had mad problems thats all i know... they were delaminating and breaking everywhere so if u want a durable ski do not get these

Or if u guys know any other skis that are a good durable ski msg me

if you're looking for cheaper park skis buy fujatives...they are just a tad more expensive and are much much more durable. you can get them for really cheap if you get last years

i would say get either the originsl chronics if you can find them...or maybe last years wides...

once again, they delaminate...so i guesse not. If you ski 50/50, get mroe of a all mtn ski...

if you dont ski 95-100% park, you shouldnt get a park specific ski.

well, thats not saying you cant....i ski about 90% park, and i have t-halls...its not like the thalls cant go in powder, or on grooomers. there is no lable on the ski saying "this is for park only". you can ski any ski anywhere, juast it will not preform as well as other skis may.

The old ones did have some issues, but so have alot of other skis the first year out, wait and see what people say about them, they very well could have fixed the delam problem and they'd be a very sweet park ski that would hold up well.

they suck dont get the 06 if you want invaders-either get the 07 ones or the anthems

do not buy the 06 vaders buddy...a lot of them had mad delam issues among others...this year they changed the ink in the ski (the cause of the delam issue last year) so they are gonna be 100% better this year...i've ridden them in park and on groomers n shit...dope ski for park, great for cruising...and if you're small enough they should be decent for powder

ive got last years scratchs and they are awesome for everything, theyre stiff enough to handle high speeds on hardpack, fat enough to ski some pretty deep pow and soft enough for the park...since you ski like 50 50 then they should prolly be aight

just make sure you mount em more centered than the modern mounting line if you wanna ske a lotta park cuz its pretty far back

first of all, my friend rocks the invaders, and has NEVER, NEVER, NEVER had any problems with them. He used them on everything you can imagine, rails, pipe, HUGE jumps. That is just more NS bullshit, on kid says they suck and they all do.

Here is what i thought of them, the eliptical sidecut is CRAZY, you can carve shit like a snowboard. The butter zones don't really help you out. They are pretty light from the wood core, but there are some lighter sticks out there. It takes some time getting used to the centre mount though.

I don't think the fujis would be too bad for him, seeing that he weighs only 100 lbs.

i rode invaders all last year as my park/all mtn ski (i live in PA). they had some delam issues, but that's fixed for this year. they were hands down the best park ski i'ver ever been on. they're well balanced on rails and in the air, stable enough to come hauling full speed into big hits, obviously amazing riding switch. i thought that the flex pattern did make it easier to butter and press; the flex is actually pretty similar to the troublemakers. they ski a lot better all mountain than a ski that cheap should, thats for sure.

My friend, who is about your size, had them last season. He didnt ride them much, so I cant really say anything about them. But they look like cool skis.

ar6's i hear are to be one of the best all mountain jib park everyfuckingski made to date. look into it.

dude, get the invaders, the 06-07 models don't have the delam problem, which was a complete bitch last year. Butter zone is sweet, maybe to soft if you're gonna do 50/50, but try the Chronic, they are stiffer and are ment for all mountain

or try the anthem...same idea as the invader witht he butter zones etc but its wider and because of that a bit stiffer...definately look into them if you're wanting a good all around ski...and if you weigh that little a softer ski like the invader or anthem is gonna be easier for you to move around

i got the inivaders and they are just fine the only thing i dont like about them is the top coat it isnt strong and is kinda peeling away but other then that they are sweet skis
