I'm lying in a bed for 10 days. Here's my story.

You may have a seen an earlier thread on this asking if it was really worth it, so for those who didnt I'm too lazy to type exactly what I'm doing so direct your attention here: https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/236565/

Basically, I'm participating in a medical study at the University of Colorado Hospital that is testing a new drug to decrease muscle atrophy for astronauts. It's a 19 day thing total, and Ive been here for 5 already. 10 of the days I have to lay flat in a bed. I start the lying down part tomorrow so I figured to help pass some time I'll make a thread on it. Why? you ask, well they are paying me $4,225 for this and I need it for rent on an apartment in Breckenridge. So that's about it really. I just finished a muscle biopsy and that was weird as hell and I'm just anxious to start this whole lying down thing. If you have any questions just post them here because I'll answer them since i really have nothing else better to do. I'll also post on this every day until I'm done with the lying down part of it all. word.

people in the hospital have huuuuuuge spots where the skin is almost non-existant because its always in contact with sheets and stuff..

no like they really dont have a way of watching me. they check in on me about once an hour maybe and thats it so ive kinda cheated at times andsat up for a minute to stretch and shit. And what the hell is that website you posted hahah i dont know which is you but i havent really read all of them so ill try to find it. pretty funny though.

um. go to this site, and learn about all kinds of wack stuff, www.disinfo.com... only go if you want to read though.. since you said you're playing videogames and such, i doubt you will.. but yeah, it has an full archive of things that the public has been misinformed about and stuff...

what am I on... DAY 4

My back still hurts which sucks, but i've got the massage therapist coming in tonight so word on that. They took another muscle biopsy of me this morning, and for those of you who don't know what that is, it's when they take a small chunk (about the size of the eraser on a pencil) out of your muscle to study it. It's pretty gnarly how they do it, and you're wide awake too watching it. They numbed my leg up and make a small cut then stick in this big ass thing that looks kinda like a big pair of scissors, then the put suction on it which pulls a piece of your muscle into the tube of the "scissors" and then they cut that little piece out. This is kinda the shitty part of the study when they have to do these, but its not too bad. that was about the highlight of my day today, so until tomorrow... cheers.

hah yea but it's not bad i'll take a picture of my leg and its really not bad at all. the only shitty thing is that they have to do it 4 times over the study.

DAY 5

I got a shower today for the first time in 5 days! It was cool they put me on a waterproof bed and rolled me down to this big shower and I took a shower lying down. And the best part of it was that there's a nurse in there to help you wash like your legs and shit, and for some crazy reason there was a new nurse starting today and she was the one helping me. She is a milf. straight up. I had a great day. Cheers.

DAY 6

Over halfway done with this thing wooo! Nothing exciting today really, I've just been watching a lot of ski videos which makes me want to go ski even more than i already want to. And I've realized I've been on NS for nearly 6 days straight... god damn. Cheers.

Yea I've watched pretty much all of those movies from the favorite movie thread, it's pretty rediculous how many movies I've seen now. But yea they're are 2 hot nurses, one is kind of i guess like a secretary or something so i don't really see her, but the other one is this milf that is my nurse today! other than those 2 though it's downhill
