I think Keystone is a fine place to ski but its not comparable to places like Crested Butte, Whistler, Jackson Hole, etc. I'm really happy about what I get with my 5 mountain pass. Its a good deal. Besides, the mountain is pretty nice if you know where to go.... but isn't that every mountain pretty much?
keystone's tight.. easily accessible park, dedicated park lift, super friendly park crew, park is ALWAYS being worked on and cleaned up, night riding, that pizza place that smells amazing walking in/out, not a ton of safety homo's like at copper, plus some of the park guys from breck are now running the park at keystone such as last season
thats going to be a pretty long ride but how do they plan on getting you back to the main mountain because independence is way over to the left. Last year i heard that they were going to develop that whole mountain, like put a lift on it and a bunch of other shit. That's be sweet cuz then my condo would be a ski in/out condo.
i agree but they are only allowing cat access right now, they might develop the whole thing in a year or two. the only advantage for me is that my condo would be ski in, but i don't know if it is worth it
ya its kind of gay how the bowls are now so any gaper can just hike/ride the cat, but i think independence will be pretty exclusive to the better skiers
