New skiing documentary?

i read in the new skiing magazine (yes it is a gay magazine) that there will be a new documentary film, like dogtown and z boys type of thing. it sounds like it could be pretty cool, the only thing that sucks is that its for big mountain skiing and how it has changed and stuff. i think big mountain is awsome but i wish someone would make something about freestyle skiing and like how park stuff got started, backcountry kickers, and only the cool big mountain stuff. i know the film is probably gonna have alot of gay skiing in it, like alot of pussy lines with no cliffs. but atleast seth is gonna be in it. i think in like 3 more years we will be ready for a freestyle skiing documentary.

Yeah freestyle/newschool skiing is wayy to new still, gotta give it another 10 or so.

you have to understand that the "gay big mountain stuff" paved the way for us so i feel it is important that it gets its own movie, and a park documentary now would be boring because it woulde be about 10mins long, once the progression slows down it would be worth thinking about but at the moment the history is still being made. And don't get me wrong i love a good documentry. I think this movie will be awesome, the gay old skiing is sick, you just have to put it in context. I am chomping at the bit to see this release.

im still definatly going to see it, i know its gonna have alot of cool stuff in it. i like big mountain, i just really dont like when its only skiing, like no jumps or anything, its like a slightly cooler form of racing. and if it was a freestyle movie it would have the cool big mountain stuff, bc jumps and park, like the best of each. but i agree we need to wait like 5 more years.

yeah unless its like crazy big steep lines and huge cliffs and stuff. it gets so boring just watching people just plain "ski" i dont even like skiing really, skiing is pretty gay, i like freestyle skiing, and there is a huge difference.

think about it, skiing pretty much means skiing down groomers all day, and that is gay. big mountain skiing, park skiing, and all that is awsome

no that bores me to death also. The only thing that makes it interesting to me is if the skier is doing tricks on cliffs or whatever.

Yeah big mountain is the shit and all, and its tons of fun to ski and I have huge respect for the professionals who do it, but I just can't stand to watch it. Its sooooooooo boring to watch.

i think you have to ski some really sketchy lines to appreciate big mountain stuff. Otherwise it just looks easy. The camera can't capture how absolutely ballsy it is to ride a no-fall 60 degree slope.
