Most irrelevant professional skier

just curious as to whom people thought was the most irrelevant pro. that is, the pro who has the least influence on the sport, who is just there enjoying the ride, who bites the style of other riders. I think there are certainly a few pro shreds out there like this, so, any personal opinions as to who they might be?

Saying Kreitler is one of the most irrelevant skiers is retarded.  He was one of the first guys out there and is responsible for getting it to where it is today.

He may not be as good as some other skiers out there, but he is actually respinsible for changing the sport.


I would probably agree that the whole Summit County scene, IE mercon, tufflemeyer, etc, kind of is irrelevant.  There are some people there who are ok, but generally it isnt that great.

yo i hate when chicks try to argue they are just as good at skiin when on the hill they never back it up... never. not even pro chicks. I dont know why it is, not saying you're biologically impaired or anything, but prove us wrong. next time you're skiin and your guy friend is throwin some cool shit do the same, hit the same jumps and rails and dont suck then you'll get the same respect as guys. with sarah burkes segments last year she wouldn't have gotten hooked up with like a discount on ski socks if she was a dude. 3s and 5s? rail slides to switch? people aren't impressed anymore when a 14 yr old dude does a 5 and if you can't 270 on to a rail you can place in a respectable rail jam as a dude.

no as annoying as it is when they claim to be equally to guys, they are definately relevant because if they keep doin comps and steppin it up eventually they might actually be as good as guys and get more chicks into skiing and all that shit.

yeah but he made the stl, so he is pretty relevant to the skiing career of anyone who's ridin those. yea 4frnt probably coulda worked out a park ski design without him, but he contributed to the industry... and his old school style is hilarious.

in a way, muscle helps for sure. strong=harder to injure. if a strong guy can take a fall while learning new tricks, then he can keep learning. whereas a weaker girl, or even a weaker guy, will get injured easier. typically, females arent as strong, therefore it's harder to progress for them. thats my theory, anyways.
