Man, what happened. His show used to be so funny. I've been trying to figure out what hes done wrong. I think is that hes become too comfortable. Hes all smug now. He's way too sarcastic and hes just not as clever i guess. I personally think colbert's show is leaps and bounds funnier. Anyone else have an opinion on the state of the daily show?

I think he has just hit a dry spot...He still has good shows but its not always funny. But yeah Colbert is fucking hilarious. I wish I could have either of their jobs!!!

I still like his show, I haven't watched The Colbert Report very much because Stephen Colbert is a little too sarcastic and jokingly patriotic for my taste. I find Jon Stewart to be a little more subtle, and although he may not be quite as witty to some I still enjoy The Daily Show more. Maybe he's just getting too old for the younger audience or something.

I think his show is at a prime.  Its always been kinda hit or miss tho.  Hes just different than Colbert.  Colbert is more slapstick(i guess thats the word) which I have no problem with but Jon Stewart is more serious and he actually enjoys hearing some peoples political views and shit.  I think if anything, Jon's tried to make his show a little more serious since the Colbert Report came out since Colbert already handles all the funny shit.  The make or break thing for the Daily Show tho is the field reports or whatever they're called.  Jason Jones is so funny and all those guys are awesome.

i like both, but maybe the reason you think that about Jon Stewart is because you like the colber kind of comedy more, and since he left the daily show (i think he was on it, right?), the daily show lost that and got a little more serious.

I like Jon Stewart because hs actually points out the problems with te media, and is a lot more militant against it than colbert. Colbert is just the satirist, Jon is the guy who makes fun and then tries to get people to change or realize what needs to be done.

I don't really know what your talking about. The daily show is still a great show. Colbert report is just a different type of humor  but both are still funny.

i agree that jon stewart hasnt been as good but theres something about colbert that seems like hes trying too hard to get u to laugh. it kinda bugs me.

colbert is far more bitting and keen to disrupt common beliefs than stewart, but both shows are the best on television.

yeah, i agree a little bit that stewart has been not as good lately, but both shows are really funny to me
stewart is definitely more serious, but i think colbert is hilarious because he pretends to be an increedibly extreme republican which is really funny
i know i dont like know him presonally, but colbert obviously isn't the same person in real life as he is on the show, no one is really like that in real life?...he is just acting so extremistbecause its funny
