Yeah I have one before the recall date, and it works fine now, but I had better check out the battery recall thing soon... although it will take like 5 weeks to send it in and get a battery back all the way from NZ.

apple is the way to go, i told my GF to get one but she got a dell instead because her stupid friends that dont know jack shit about computers said apple sucks. well now they all have to get their computers recalled.

its not a computer recall...its the batteries only. Which were made buy the sony corp. dell had no controll over the problem and are willingly recalling all affected batteries at their expense.
I have bought over 15 laptops from dell with no problems...I dont fault them fopr this either

haha yah I agree, Apples are WAY too hyped. Most people why buy them don't know why they're buying them, they just want something fashonable.
Although I am a total Apple lover and will never return to pc. I have actual reasons, don't you worry.

^I know. Apples are way to hyped now a days. I liked it before like 5 years ago and earlier when I got hated on for being a mac lover. People now just buy a mac because it is a mac not because of the advantages or anything.

There have only been 339 cases since 2003 of the batteries exploding. That is out of 4 MILLION batteries. You don't have to send your battery back either (I don't think) They just send you a new one. I would love having 2 batteries for my laptop even if one had a 0.008475% chance of blowing up.
