I think skateboarding grinding helps out a lot with ski grinding. Such as a 50-50 on skateboard helps you find a balnce then you can use that on rails with skis. And timing with skateboarding is a huge thing that you need to be able to skate well. And you take that timing to skis and you are all set. Yeah riders thats all

nah not really, its totally different to grind, cause your griptape is keeping feet from slipping out and stuff

nah skateboarding and skiing are completely different, but getting wrecked on a skateboard is good training for getting wrecked on skis.

skateboarding helped my grinding one way. I'm regular footed so when i 50-50 i grind with my left foot forward, which is now natural for me on skis. the only bad thing is that my unnatural grind sucks right now, i'm gonna skate goofy for a while now and get good at that, so then i can slide unnatural on skis better.

every sport that has to do with balance will help any other sport that requires balance

^^^hey, i hear ya, thats the only way i was able to slide rails, but rollins so sick, dont call it gay till you see a sk8 video and compare the rails on sk8s to those on skis, plus huckin 5s over stairsets is so much crazier than doing them over snow

yeah, fruitbooting rocks. without the rail experience of fruitboots, i would have never learned how to grind on skis. i doesnt really help me with my spinning, thought. skis are giants goofy ass boards on your feet and skates are just little plastic boots.
