I just got a job offer there and I just want to know what people's experiences were living and working there? They offered me a position in the dinning hall or at the front desk, I'm not sure which one I should take, obviously I want the one with the most ski time. Is the managment there any good? What condition are the rooms in? To those who worked there, did you have any opourtunities the make road trips to other resorts outside a Utah like Jackson or Colorado mountains? thanks in advance.

i worked as a houseman my first season in alta at the Rus. the rustler sucks in terms of management. the food is basically the same in all the lodges and the living conditions are the same as well. as far as ski time they're both fairly equal but working in the dining room will get u further away from the lame ass managers. think of ultra ski bums who now make like a million a year, they're pretty fuckin stuck up. i was almost fired twice my first year and not invited back and now im the emp housing super at the peruvian lodge. in my opinion id say put ur app into the alta lodge, gmd, pdog, or snowpine. the rus is fucking lame, but if u can deal w/ lame management in trade for the best snow on earth then do it u wont regret it at the end of the year.
