Nobody cares about what you think and all it does is piss people off. They get annoying and usually end up with some person going insane. So just stop making all these political threads because they arent going to solve anything.

they arent going to solve anything but its how we can express our feelings about issues. In-case you forgot buddy...but we live in america.

How about don't read them? I like the political threads. I think people learn stuff from them. So either don't pay attention to them or stop your bitching.

Yea i definetly agree.
I've enjoyed reading other peoples opinions on political matters. Also Mitch is right if you don't want to talk politics its not that hard to tell a thread is political by reading the title, so if you don't want to discuss politics don't click on the thread.

Maybe we should just quit making threads that could potentially spark a conflict, that would make everything all better. People start political threads to discuss current issues; not everybody is going to agree with your point of view. Don't even try to say that a political thread is the only place people argue.

Wow your going to feel like a real asshole when one of those plans actually succeeds like the july 7th subway plots. you should just be happy they catch the bad guys before they pull their crazy shit off.

Man, I just put it up as a joke in this thread. I don't think it was accurate whatsoever. I was just waiting for the hardcore conspiracy people to come up with something wild like this though.

talking about politics is kind of cool. It gives the forums some nice diversity.
And that link... thats some good shit. The guy makes some solid claims, he doesn't seem to dislike the British government at all. He really stretches shit really thin and doesn't provide anything - just an irate bitch.

that is what i really wanted to say. Stop making threads that are completly stupid, like the government purposly killed thousands of people. Start threads that will start an intelligent conversation.

My first sentence was completely sarcastic, I hope you didn't agree with that one. An intelligent conversation is not one where everybody entirely agrees on everything, however. Polarization leads to bad things (like the bay of pigs, for example), so that should be avoided if you want to have a worthwhile conversation.

I find it very amussing that politics can be sooo popular/contraversal
on NS, when 80% of the kids on NS cant even fucking vote. I agree with
the creater. If you can vote, make a comment. If you cant vote, stfu
cause you most likely (in most situations) have no idea what you're
talkin about.

Thats a pretty ignorant thing to say. I think its the best thing for kids to get into politics now and know what the hell they are dealing with so bullshit governments don't get elected.
The young voters are the smallest turnout of all the age groups and they seem to be the ones that are most affected by it. The old people are voting for themselves and ideas that will benifit them, so why don't the youth?
Keep em coming, Mitch makes a good point that some of you little kids might actually learn a thing or two and it might even spark some interest in the subject for others.

Very true, but some people on here talk like they know EVERYTHING with politics and we all know they are like 16 or something, i think they should be learning, not teaching

Well as we found out, they get owned and they learn from that.
Plus it lets the people that know get their hate on, which i know we all love to do :D

I got the shit pwned out of me by Mi(Scra)thc, I learned my lesson. Do your homework first. It only takes a few seconds to google something and get an answer from a non media source. Argueing a point is one thing, but dont try to talk history or why shit happened or anything that you could be wrong about until you actually find the info. Mi(Scra)tch WILL get you!

Frankly im fine with the fact that young people dont have high voter turnout. Young people tend to make stupid decisions, educated maybe, but not always smart.
Its good to have the debate, but people like FuckThePolice (17 years old) are prime examples of where foolishness meets youthful arrogence. To have the gaul to stand up and say "I KNOW HOW THINGS SHOULD WORK!!!" is just rediculous.
Its fine to have political threads, someone will probably learn something, however the kids on NS should recognise their place and ask questions instead of handing out marching orders.

Political threads are dumb? Yes, the sharing of opinions, facts, and questions is obviously catagorized as "dumb". I'm so ashamed at the outlook of the youth.

These political threads are only dumb because everyone on this site is a complete retard that has never actually researched anything and only preaches their own narrow ideology in order to spark more conflict. I like reading the good discussions, but yeah I mean this is a skiing website, we're not the shiniest apples on the tree.
