i dont know why all you kids are so stoked on utah, yeah the skiing's pretty good, but there's other places with skiing just as good and its not in mormon ass utah with its 3.2% beer, scary police, and in a desert

Yeah i visited the university of utah to see if i wanted to go there. there were some chill skiers there, but i couldn't even find anybody that smoked bud. maybe i was looking in all the wrong places. and yea the beer sucks ass. i am just gonna stay my ass in boulder and party ski smoke.

Utah's snow is wayyyy better than anywhere else i've skied. You also have to stay on the snowbird, alta side cause park city sucks ass when it comes to snowfall. Plus its not crowded by thousands of rich preppy people who cant ski and get in the way. Lift tickets are pretty cheap there compared to other places as well. For purely skiing wise Utah is better than the rest of the US but if you goto resorts looking for a small town for apres ski then utah lacks in that but i dont mind. they have some good pubs and brewerys in the SLC. I dunno about you but when i go somewhere I look foward to the snow and the terrain, not the weed and the beers I can have afterward.

Yea im leaving thursday from Michigan. It nice to see a fellow midwesterner goin out there. I went out for orientation and there was no one from the midwest.  Tom Wallisch from PA was there but that was about it. 

The campus will blow you away.  Its fucking gorgeous.  Everything is brand new and its right on the side of a mountain overlooking Salt Lake.  And I drove out to Park City and Alta/Snowbird while I was out there and they are so much closer than I thought they'd be.  It took us 30mins driving the speed limit.

Yeah!  Utah sucks!  The Mormons are psychotic cult people who will scalp you if you don't convert, and you can't get real beer, and the skiing isn't even good!  Don't go there, ever!  It's not fun at all!

haha, if everyone on this site moved to tahoe then we would still have more powdert than you left and we would all go to the bay and smoke the worlds best weed (sf bitches).  but im not saying that the skiing in utah isnt amazing, just not like tahoe

both areas have similar snow depths, however some would argue that the quality of snow in utah is greater, i.e. dryer and lighter. i will make no asumptions about tahoe because i have never been there myself, i think that alta/snowbird have more to offer in terms of technical riding debatable for shure

yeh so why you wait in your traffic to go skiing, ill be hitting a blunt in my car on the way to skiing. it doesnt matter where you live, you can get wasted or blazed anywhere. especially in a city theres a shit ton of people. and bad bud?

Ok im gonna be serious about this topic for once. I know more people who smoke in utah then wisconsin. Bud may not be the dankest but its always good quality. Did you accually just compare Utah beer with Colorado? Yes colorado has better breweries, arguably they have SOME of the finest brewers in the US. But both states sell 3.2% beer. Only difference is you can get high point beer at liquor stores in colorado but in utah you have to go to a state owned liquor store to get high point beer.
Boulder is 2+ hours from any decent skiing where UofU has 7 world class resorts under an hour drive.

Shitty snow though so you better stay out of utah ;)

Im sorry but that is the worst reason to base a college decission on.   Cuz you couldnt find bud.  It's gay enough to go someplace based on the weed there but i guarantee just cuz u couldnt find it when u visited doesnt mean u wouldnt get some hookups while you were out there.
