Skiers Skateboarding not inlining??

I don't really get this but skiers hate on snowboarders and snowboarders hate on skiers but why do skiers skateboard which is like snowboarding but in the summer but in skateboarding there are flip tricks. But why don't skiers inline its just like skiing and would help practice in the summer.

i ski with boarders so i dont have a reason to hate them...although the majpority of park enthusiasts(sp) at the park i go to are snowboarders...they rarly start shit with u and it doesnt seem they get in ur way...and skateboarding i would say is more popular then inline...i ski and i skateboard...if i was with a bunch of friends who bladdded i would most likly have done that. and i dont have much expirience with bladers and skateboarding because none of my friends inline and our slatepark was torn down.

The balance involved in running and jumping on a skateboard (for speeds of course!! -_-) is the same as a railslide. Just balance in general improves after skating, and so does confidence. I don't see why people would consider changing summer habits to better prepare for winter habits. I love skating.

inline is just too much like skiboarding. if you aren't throwing a 450 onto a rail or doing cross legged grinds, then its kinda pointless -- who wants to bomb a hill on inlines? however, skateboarding is fun in the park, but is also a good mode of transportation. skateboarding isn't an ideal offseason training sport, but who wants to fucking train anyways?

im sorry you feel that way but inline is def harder. just wait till your getting tech on rails and it gets so frustrating. sure the beginner grinds are simple and easy but the same with skateboarding. i've skateboarded and skateboarding is way easy to catch onto. im pretty sure im done skateboarding tho after 3 years cuz my board broke yesterday and i got no money to go towards that. so inline it is.

people shouldnt skate or inline because they want to "train". they should do it because its fun. also you definatly should not skate or inline jus because you think you should ebcause you ski/snowboard in the winter. when you call it training it kinda sucks the fun out of it (for me anyways) becuase then theres too much pressure and stuff

^true statement. There's no reason to hate snowboarders more than skiers in the park. The reason for the snowboarder hate is due to beginner snowboarders sideslipping into tight chutes and scraping off all the snow. Beginner skiers just don't seem to do the same damage to the BC.

you are correct in stating that, since they have payed the same fee as we have, they have as much right to mess up the mountain. No matter that they are silly and not worrying about being in way over their heads.
