haha. i think mac hypes gonna stay around for a while. search on google. thers a bunch of sites that are dedicated to rumors about new mac stuff. its ridiculous. but yes i can see mac hype going down in the future.

you know, the reason people say that was because, back in the day, apple hardware (powerpc platform, g3 and g4 processors) was supposedly optimized for editing. now apple has the same hardware as pc's (intel core duo), so i'm not sure that is still a legit statement. now the main differences are in software, and final cut isn't that much better than adobe premiere, if at all. although i must admit, the new mac pro is a BEAST!
you apple fanboys make me angry.
