ya it is about taking the girl to the pageant. it is only playing in certain cities so it might be hard to find but definatly a really good dark comedy

i was so set to see that movie, and the very day i wanted to see it, it wasn't playing anymore. so now i have to wait until it comes out on dvd. i'm bummed.

i just heard the commercial on the radio today where steve carells interviewing himself, and it was the first time i've ever laighed at a radio commercial, so it reminded me to see this movie.  anyone else see it and how was it

After the first half i thought that it wasn't going to live up to its hype, but it pulled itself together at the end. And Allen Arkin is so great in that movie, it's a shame we don't see him more often.
