does it really matter if u dont have park boots?i cant imagine it would be that much better on landings with park boots then without and i dont feel like spending $250 so am i correct about sticking with some old lang's or should i consider new boots?
well it does matter if you're landing hard with stiff racing boots...I just got used to it but if you've never raced a ton or aren't used to soft boots then it does matter.
^true that, if you raced (just guessing cuz you had race skis) you should know that boots are a pretty crucial piece of equipment, you wouldn't wanna be racing with some super soft big heavy park boots, nor would you want to jib with some super stiff uncomfortable race boots.
it is all based on ur foot, u should go to a shop and have a boot fitter help u but, are ur feet wide or narrow? if u have a wider boot i suggest a slaloman boot or head boot, but if ur foot is narrow u may want to look at dalbelos
i had racing boots last year and i wasnt a fan of them when i landed hard, this year i'm getting salomons park boots cause i don't like to feel anything
park boots are a must...i got my 1080 foils last year and at first they were uncomfortable but after i broke them in...its like wearing a skate shoe...i did have problems with shinbang but thats cuz i never gave my shins the chance to heal...also i heard if u put the sole of the skate shoe that u use into ur boot...it helps alot...
no, just no. you could have 1080 foil boots that DONT fit, or cheapy rossignol soft boots that fit. park boots are a gimmick in my opinion...just get a rec boot with a softer flex...it will save you cash, and preform just as well..
