first one to try it was some guy named chad. Dunno who stuck it first though. Some un-known from back in the day when they were judt throwing front and backs.
And, personally. juss personally, I like Candide's skiing more. I'm not even thinking about what they're like in person. Don't care about that.

u just can't compare... its like comparing Eric Koston to Danny Way. Both can skate street, both can skate vert... but u see Danny on vert and Koston on street.

Candide is just amazing, he is a WOW/ HOLY SHIT! skier

Tannerball is Most Tech/ Most Talent/ Style coming out of pores in skin

they both are amazing

Candide was the first to clear chad's. I prefer him to tanner any day. Candide just has more shots that make me say holy shit and go back and watch it in slow mo. There are at least 3 of those just in that w'happen teaser.

that 5 over the superpark hip was huge but he did like a flaily daffy at the end and it just didn't look good. the jump this year at the Candide invite was bigger and while some people seem to think it was impossible NOT to flail on it as it seems everyone did, Sammy did switch 9 nosegrab perfect with no flails. all im saying is there is no excuse to flail no matter how big the jump is

Candide. Tanner has turned into a pretty good big mountain skier, but he is not great yet. Candide, while we don't get to see it much, is still more respected for his big mountain abilities. Watch Mind the Addiction, there is a line that he absolutely blazes through, a steep technical top section, with a cliff beneath it. He tears through it like it is a G.S. course, super clean and smooth. When I saw it I was blown away. It could have been Kreitler or McConkey or Nobis. It would not have been one of their top lines, but you could have put it in their segment and it would have fit right in. That line impressed me more than any of the jumping and spining. I just wish we got to see him do that more. Candide is up there with CR, Abma, Pep, and Pollard, as freestyle guys who also KILL big mountains. Tanner is getting there, but he hasn't gotten there yet.

um, candide was the first to land it, but the first to hit it was a guy named chad (can't rember the last name). as for the question you can't say whose better as they have completely different styles, though for overall id say candide has the edge just because he keeps evolving the sport, while tanner seems to have peaked, and i know that candide is better all mountain because 1. he's from europe were everyone skis OB 2. his style alone leads him to a more technically sound stance than the gorilla would, 3. everyone's seen tanner on big mountain, it's okay, not that impressive

i like candide's style better wen hes doing tricks and stuff, but t hall is good, but ive always wondered, why is t hall never in like the candide or jon olsson invitational? do they not like t hall or something?

didn't he only win it two in a row, then got second to ganier? and anyone who watched X-games knows both dumont and favre got robbed in the pipe, if you compare dumonts and tanner's runs there are only three differences, all which favor dumont, 1. first trick: tanner 5 safety, dumont 5 truck driver. 2. second hit: tanner flair, dumont unnatty 5. 3 the most obvious of them all is that dumont was five feet higher on every trick than tanner was.

i dont remember that, for the past couple years tricks off the money booter have been switch and 2 years ago probably a switch 9 from tanner.
i like candide's skiing alot more, he just needs to do different grabs, the mute and tail get a bit repetitive (sp?)
