I dont remember the first cd i bought myself. But one of the first bands i got into when I was a kid was the spin doctors because my mom bought me one of their tapes.  Whatever one had two princes and pocket full of kryptonite on it.  Im not old at all but i feel old now that i said that.

i think i picked up offspring - smash before. cuz it had that song 'bad habbit' i was in 4th grade haha...cursing was so damn cool.
