Rally racing...in the X games?

What the hell? Why did put that in? Driving a car in not much of a sport. Also, rally racing is just like the indy 5000, its boring as hell. 35 laps around the same track...1 lap takes three freeking minutes, there are like 15 racers. Then they put motoX through the same course? what the hell!
I think the X games have changed man. Before it was the celebration of extreme sports no matter the ratings. Now rattings suddenly matter so much to them, they took out rollerblading, my favorite event. Their excuse: nobody wants to see it and the sport cannot progress so we took it out. Thats like 2 lies in 1 sentence. Why does cool sport events have to become sold out?

ok, well as i strongly dissagree with your perception of racing, i do agree that the xgams have gone to shit and it should be in there. but hey, fuitbooting is the only other sport thats on ramps/skate parks, but they fuckin threw that out, so why not bring in racing?

I dont think rally is boring and it actually is kinda a tough sport but i dont think that it should be in thje x games or that inline should be taken out. That was dope though how colin mcrae rolled his STI and drove out of it and lost barely any time

Rally is too good for the x-games, that's why it shouldn't be there. In fact, as long as NASCAR exists rally will be far too good of a motor sport for american soil.

a friend of mine competed in that event at the x-games, i thought it was kinda cool. but normally rally racing isnt confined to laps on a short track. i thought it was normally about covering distance?

ya, the only thing about rally racing that is athletic is endurance to drive across a desert. making a small track takes anything athletic away.

rally racing is pretty cool sport, so much can go wrong & you could seriously fuck yourself up. i mean just think about it if a car ran into a tree or something like that plus the fact that they don't know where they are going *the driver*, but if it should be in the xgames is questionable.
who knows maybe they will take it back to the core sports soon, like razor scooters.

i find that the announcers for the xgames are boring to listen to also. they are trying to make it so everyone can understand. i was watching today and they explained every trick during the freestyle motocross. And what was up with the surfing today?? it seemed to be that they edited it already but i thought that the x games were live today.
