so ya, i got my license this morning, so i get to drive my brothers jeep wrangler, and he's getting my dads old car. My bro had a bunch of car audio shit in there (subs and new speekers, with a speeker amp and a sub amp) and i bought it off of him because hes getting new audio stuff for my dads old car...
anyways, who else drives a wrangler?
also i just have anothre question... im no good at going from stopped, into first gear. what are some good ways to get better, other than practice? when i go from stopped to first, the car usually jerks like crazy. i know how to stop it from that, but how do i avoid it?

practice.. dip the clutch in put in in first, give it a little gas and as your givin it gas let the clutch out a little... once you've been doing it for awhile it gets easier and get better and faster at it

i drive one. they roll easy at highspeeds, but are very stable at slower ones. just keep driving and 1st won't be a problem. plus it's a jeep so it has one of the easiest clutches of any manual you could learn on.

i drive a wrangler. and so does eastcoast*ski. they're fuckin sick. takin em on ski trips and then to the beach to surf are insane. do you have both a hard and soft top for it, because it's def worth it to have both. and driving stick is def easiest to learn in a jeep more than any other car ive driven so far. it took me about a week to get the hang of it all together.

wranglers are cool. every other person in my town has one (4 of my friends have one). their fun to drive.
and the first week of driving stick sucks, but after that it's all good. just takes practice and patience

my moms audi is easy to get out of first. you push the clutch in, put it into frist, then take the clutch out and it starts rolling. you dont need gas for a flat or even a little incline.

I own a TJ ( all the cool people who know call them by the frame classification). They have new spline axls, and detroit lockers, and LSD front and rear. With all the offroad gear i got on my jeep, it is way harder to drive then normal. Jeeps are very different to drive standard then cars. The long shifter, and you really have to press down on the clutch.
To get better just take your jeep out on the road. Put your hazards on, and just pratice smooth clutching into 1 first. When it comes time to shift then just press the clutch and do it again. You want a slow up and down movement. When you feel the clutch engage with the engine, give it all LITTLE bit of gas. If you want to have an easyer time, use the ball of your foot, and your toes. Just do that up and down the street in 1st, and by the end of an hour, you will have it perfect.

If ur not on a hill try starting in 2nd gear instead its alot smoother that way.
