who uses a TRAMP??

Im thinking about getting a tramp for summer and i was wondering how many people actually use them? Also do they help out a lot and are there any better tramps to get or are they mostly the same?? any help is appreciated

trampolines are in my opinion the second most helpfull thing out there to learning youre tricks...i woudlnt be able to do the shit i can do on snow if it wasnt for the trampoline the number one thing is actaully doing it of course

get a rectangular trampoline, i have one and you can bounce about 2-3 times as high as those cheap walmart circle ones. Besides actually trying the trick on skis, this is the next best training tool, get one for sure.

u can get a shitty shitty tramp for $250(us) i bet, if u want a decent one itll be somewhere between 500-1000 depending on size and gymnast tramps are expensive as shit, and dangerous too if u dont know how to jump on one, but tramps help out a lot

at BJ's (a whole sale store where i live) i got a tramp with a nice cage for like 300. I also biult a platform like 11 feet tall and i get like 8+ feet of the tramp, they dont help a whole lot but fun a hell!

i have a tramp its good. but you guys saying its the best training device, i think your leaving out water ramps. water ramps are def. the best for training. get one of those for sure!

trampolines are one pf the most usefull things out there. you can really gain confidence doing the big tricks.you learn to commit.12' walmart ones cost 300$ and they do the trick.. If you want some gynastic one Go and ask your gym teacher.. Most schools have them.And they have big mats.. Safer..

i got my tramp from k-mart and it is hellza bouncy. its 13' and it was $210 even. you don't need a huge circus tramp unless you are in the circus. oh and yeah they are the second best training for skiing. water ramps are fo sho the best.

cages are sweet you dont fall off and die. you dont want to land wrong and break and arm or wrist or something. especially doin inverts, its easy to land wrong and bounce off sideways.

i went to a store that makes trampolines in my city and got a rectangle one, it is basically between a normal trampoline and a gymnast trampoline, the cool thing about it is it is built really well so its basically as good as new after 3 years, and if anytrhing ever got bad, there is a lifetime warranty on everything, and the springs are soft and have a pretty slow rebound, so it isnt as jerky on your back, but still sends you up alot higher, and is way easier to do tricks on. i really reccommend putting down the extra money for a good one, but hey a trampoline is a trampoline and you'll still have tons of fun, andbe able to learn tricks on a normal cheap circular trampoline

Yah I agree, tramps help a lot. My friend has one...he advanced sooo much over the summer, he ripped on the mtn this season. But can you really mess yourself up bad? Whats the worst anyone's done?

It's great for getting the rotations down, especialy on inverts... but I agree with the guy who said you want a cage or net, because if you land a flip wrong you sometimes get whiped to the edge.

i got my rectangular tramp from my school when i was 2 yrs. old (my parents did). They got it from my school because too many kids hurt themselves on it and they had to sell it, so we bought it, and i bought a new mat and springs and it kicks ass.

tramps are the best for learning tricks, other then water ramps...if you have a pile of snow or if you dont care about your health like me, and have gumby knees you can jump off your tramp onto the soft ground... itt helps alot more then just tricking on the tramp.... i learned backflips, rodeos, lincolns, flats mistys, and corks off the tramp onto the ground, and every trick under the sun on the tramp

dont buy a rectangle tramp unless you are a gymnast, just go to a tramp club in your area and buy a normal tramp for max 400 bones.

i have a tramp and its definitly good for progressing in the summer. i didnt have a net/cage until my mom bought one from crappy tire .that nite i was really drunk and did a undrflip with good height and landed a bit on my ankle and broke it in 4 places. now 2 screws are in my ankle. i was lucky it was in august and it heeled in time for ski season:)...anyways enought of my issues..GET A TRAMP!

Whoever said whats the worst you can get hurt on a tramp... Ever heard of Jason Stinsman? Tried a double backflip and got thrown weird and compressed his spine or somethin. He was paralyzed for a while, doctors didnt think he was gonna be able to walk again, then a month or so later, i see him up at the mountain. The kid is invincible

Man, trampolines help alot. Juts take it easy. And If your trrying something especially hard or crazy, at least get some spotters or something. If you go to like a gymnastic club or something its fine. But just a backyard tramp, remember to be safe. Its not worth taking yourself out on a tramp. All in all though they are great. I wish I had room in my backyard...
