positive they were designed to be stiffer than the SPs. Guess it could depend on the condition of the ski and size. The effect I believe was felt more in the longer skis than the short ones due to the great change in core thickness in the 189 vs the small SVs
when my 179s got too short for me, i remounted them for park. sickest park ski EVER d00d... then when they became so beat up and soft they were good for nothing else, i remounted them at +3 for early/late season rock skiing.
never throw away/sell your first gen pistols. hang them on the wall if they're too beat up to ski.
what years stand out as being better? can i get away with skiing them on piste or do they only excell in deep pow? (im trying to find a ski for out of the park...my stl's get thrown around alot) I also might add I am east coast.
i got a single morrison pro mounted on my wall in the original blue hotrod graphics...dEsTrOy-ed its partner and got the red ones on warranty as well as a pair of AK Launchers(long story!) never used the red ones...sat in my attic! got first gen pistols, snapped tails and got 2nd gen as warranty replacements, sold those and got vicious....the way forward is Seth pros!
