definitely get one. And try a bunch on before you buy too, comfort is key. Not all heads are the same.

definately get a helmet bro. the pros definately outweigh the cons and concussions and dying sucks.
red hifis are super comfortable and look dope. they also fit really well and come with nasty headphones

helmets are for pussies. i pride myself in not wearing one. just liek not wearin pads biking... just grow ur hair pretty long, then it will act like a big pad so you dont get hurt. or try not falling, that one is usually pretty good.

giros are comfy as hell, i see a lot of other skiers on the the mountain wearing helmets with almost no padding at all just because it is trendy or a current fad, you can really tell what someone cares about by whats on their head sometimes
i suggest giro because they look cool and have good padding so it won't get uncomfortable

definitely DON'T get one. helmets are the biggest cock blocks ever. How you suppose to score some pussy on the lift when the girls are scared to ride up with you. Besides, snow is soft and fluffy how you gonna hurt your head in it?!?! If you get a concussion you get a concussion.. no biggie.

Haha, I got a Giro 9 four years ago, and its covered with stickers. I love it to death, and over the years I've been adding to it to keep up with the current style. Last year I bought a bike helmet with a visor, and used the visor on my 9 during the winter. I've even sewn ear-buds into the removable ear flaps, so now I have my own homemade tune ups.
I'd suggest a Giro, but then again, I've never worn anything else. But I love mine, so comfy and nice. Make sure it has removable padding and cloth, if its integrated it'll never get washed and will always smell bad.

trust me, looking "bad" in a helmet FAAAR outweighs the cons of being heli-vacced after being knocked out by a severe concussion.
Here, let me list some cons of being heli vacced cuz i was wearing a crappy helmet:
- high hospital costs
- high flight costs
- high check up neurologist visit costs
- worrying about whether or not you are going to have any longterm effects like random migraines
- realizing you could have died.
trust me, helmets are good, and put all your money into that if anything. its worth it.

i have one.....its comfy, and has saved my head about 6 times....its like, the inside kinda formed to my head...so it fits fine...i like it.
oh ya, im sorry, but asking us if YOu should get a helmet seems, well, stupid.
no offence, but i personally dont care if you get a helmet.
yet, lets think..
-if you have a helmet, your safer.
-helmet keeps your head warm, as does a hat..
-hats will not save you.
-buy a stylish helmet, and ill sell you some of my steeze. then your set!
(smiley) :-)

My helmet is probably bashed in too many times to help many anymore but i dont want to give it up because i smothered it with stickers. Its still better than wearing just a beanie though.
