im not sure how many of you are familiar with silverfishlongboarding.com but they have a helpful little tool that i think could be useful on newschoolers...when you hover ur mouse over the thread title it give you a few sentences of the first post.. its cool because some titles dont always match what the post is really about.
just a thought.

It would be annoying to move your mouse around and accidentaly have the thing pop up. Most of us have enough time to click on the thread and wait the 3 seconds it takes to load.

This idea is actually great, they have it in lots of other forums and it is a wonderful feature, you just make it so you have to stay over it for a second or two, to avoid any annoyances.
Great idea man.

I don't like it but if you did do it don't make it mouse-over, make a link to click so people like me don't get pissed off whenever I move my mouse around.

Good idea, just make a longer delay so you dont piss people off. Even with a 3 second delay, it would help people with slow internet connections.

i wouldn't mind it with a few second delay. but most of my responses in threads are not to the original post; they're to other people's responses to the original post.

does anyone else actually LIKE non-complicated NS? dont get me wrong, the way you guys did quoting was awesome, and way more simple than other forums that have lines upon lines of quotes. i like it like this.

i dunno.. i think that would give less replies in threads. but that could be good, because all the garbage replies could be avoided, but i dunno. i think all the pros and cons even out and it is a neutral idea.
