back flips are easy once you commit to doing it, just scary at first. 3's are 3's pretty hard to say some thing is easier than a 3

ive never really tried backs on skis but i do them off of like everything in shoes and shit like garbage cans and playgrounds and fences and shit, so hopefully ill just do one next year.

backflips are easier but also scarier, but once you stomped your first one it seems as easy as taking a dump....

i just cant tell from tramps, but fronts are def. harder than backs, you just see nothing of the landing and i crash 2 out of 6 while doing them on a tramp. but backs i can land without problems

i landed the 1st backflip i ever tried, 360s took a bit longer, on bigger jumps backflips can be very easy to overrotate tho.

i cant do backflips on skis. that being said i still think they would be very easy. i am ok on skis, can spin 9s, but just cant get myself to try a flip. the wierd thing is that i am very good at backflips, i can do them on flat ground and off pretty much anything. I just gotta stop being a pussy and do it i guess. its a wierd mental thing i got.

you should do nothing violent to your freind........the only thing hard about backflips is getting the balls to do them....once you actually try them you will most likely at least get around most of the way......i landed my like 3rd backflip attempt

What I did, I learend back first cause I never comited wel to the 360. I learned the back in a powder jump, maybe thats the best option cause you feel the rotation for first time with you skis ina safty place. Do all the backies you can in the pow jump then when u land them all try to get the jump biger. Always think the timing you will put to u backflip cause in big jumps u can overrotate and that hurts. Big air, do them slow, lil air do them faster.

WTF? Am I the only one that find backflips 10 times harder than 360s? Switch frontflips over chad's are way easier than both though...

well i can do backflips really easy off a diving board havent really tried to do one on a tramp... if i made a really lippy jump into a really loose packed, forgiving tranny this winter would i be able to do one.... and spinning is super easy i have never tryed a backy

man i dont think so, fronts are just less scary cause you dont have that one second that you're blind. Fronts you often have to fight the direction the jump throws you. Backs just feel more natural.

So... If one can do gainers well off of platforms, the rest is just popping and looking back on your skis, right?

I've done 360's first and found them easier, but I don't know, I guess it's more of a mental problem lol, it just freaks me out when I have the thought of landing on my head/neck, etc that's why I started with 3's

backflipping seems so much more antimidating then 3s cuz you can screw yourself bigtime under or overrotating

when you throw a back do you tuck your knees to spin more or do them more in a «seth morisson style» and get straight as a bar in the air so the tail of your skis are almost touching your head?

backflipping manuvers are more burley, so they are extremely hard to do.

Yeah i agree. I can easily just jump and do a 3 while im skiing but there is know way that i could ever do a backflip like that. Plus u can land 3s way under rotated or over rotated. U can land a 3 sideways and ski away no problem.

backflips are all in the hips, look at downey in LSS, he always thrusts his hips forward

back flips are easier if you just get enough balls to do them
All times are Eastern (-5)
