Oh I remember those, they wheren't bad really. What was bad was the keeper camp... damn. It was 3 2 hour sessions a day for 5 days. You wheren't even encouraged to eat right, you're body just forced you to. So for breakfest you'd have like maybe cereal, or a fruit with water, for lunch same thing and for dinner you'd carbo-load with a large pizza each. Man that was insane, just constant drilling, conditioning... good times.

i have a 2 sessions per day for soccer. its gonna blow. they expected everyone to runa dn do stuff over the summer. the coach even gave us packets with exercises and drills to do. haha screw that. its gonna be rough. we're gonna do a TON of running. and we're starting off on a timed 2 mile run, which they expect all us to run in less than 12 minutes.

how are you all starting two a days so early? The earliest schools around here are allowed to start is august 15th, but yeah, they fucking suck for any sport, I'm playing soccer and we run a rediculous amount the first 3 days. The first day we have a customary 5-6 mile run.

football just from 6:00 im the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon every day for two weeks starting next week. But we have the best confrence for football in the state, and in the top 20 confrences in the country so if we want to compete we gotta be serious.

yup i got it for football one a days next week then 2 a days for the rest of summer and scrimmages and shit..my summers pretty much over..sucks but im a senior so its the last time i have to do it

yea we have them here. soccer for me but /\ the cooper test sucks for us if you do run 7 laps in 12 minutes then you go to six and so on util you do it in 12 mins

I play tennis. We have 3 hour practices a day until school starts, then we still have 3 hour practices a day. It's cool though, we usually smoke a bowl on the mile run before practice. THe shitty part is we have to do 100 pushups, 100 situps, and 100 jumping jacks in ten minutes if we want to play varsity.

yes, well i can fluctuate between 295 and 305 with out doing anything (waterwait i guess) i played DE and TE in Highschool back then I was almost 6'1" around 230-240 but i grew a little ove an inch in college, and since i graduated i work an office job so all i do is sit around any more. but i am actuall still in half decent shape jus twith a decent beer gut. dont kno why this is important i was just laughing at poeple doing 2 a days becaus ei dont have to do them any more, and all you pansys complainig about soccer 2 a days can shut up put some pads on then talk to me.

He is saying that you guys are complaining about how much 2 a days suck when you can run around with nothing but a pair of shorts on...where as foot ball players have to wear helmets, pads, jerseys...all that shit in the same heat. my school started them but i'm not playing football this year because my coach is a crazy ass. it would conflict with skiing so fuuuuck that haha. my mom said they are going to go a little easier on kids now tho cas a 15 year old died at a football practice the other day, he collapsed.

once it comes to gametime though, there's like 4 people on a football team who do running the rest just bounce around for 2 seconds at a time then take a walk until another set-up. It's a little more intense when you have to run your guts out for 90 minutes with only 1 break

i got 2-a-days coming up on aug. 18th for college soccer. we gotta do the cooper test on the first day too. we'll see if all the work over the summer really paid off.

dude dont start shit, this thread was good for awhile. respect other sports man. plus most kids, in america at least, cant even see the football field until their junior year, just because the upperclassmen are that much bigger, it doesnt take anything away from his accomplishments.

it would be nice if you contributed something useful to this thread instead of piss people off.

we start Aug. 14th for cross country, within that week we will run 80 miles, our school is really intense, tomorrow in this heat we are running 12 miles. our school has a huge reputation though, won conference 19 out of 21 years

Chill out, i play football too, and i warmed bench for varsity my soph year i know its hard to start. But i just thought that it was funny that he tried to brag about his football acomplishments by saying he was an "All-Star". How the fuck does one get classified as an all star?

We play a game a week because of the physical strain of a game. There would be nothing left of a football player if he was playing 3 or 4 games a week. The day after a football game you feel like you got hit by a train.

I don't want to start shit but the physical strain on a swimmer or runner is much greater then that of a football player. football players at my school talk shit all the time, but they wouldn't last a day with us.
