Is there a progam that allows you to take any song and take away the lyrics so you just have the beat left over? Or a program that allows you to take the beat away and just have the lyrics?? Hepling me out would be greatly appreciated.
well, it doesn't work for every song, but if you just remove the stuff that is completely in the middle channel, its usually only the vocals, because in most commercially produced music, all the instrumentation gets panned.
nope. You can never do it perfectly. It has to have been mastered correctly. The way people usually get instrumentals or acapella's is the studio releases these things on an LP.
You can use the EQ to try and take out the vocals but you certainly can't do it the other way..and its never perfect. Basically you can make either quieter, but thats it.
For an instrumental, try and find a part of the song that has no lyrics and then loop whatever section that you can find. Sometiems you can make an alright instrumental that way.
Problem is that vocals etc are mastered across a range of frequencies, and everything cross talks.
