I'm doing a bit of research here, if you guys don't mind helping!
I'm trying to find out which are the parks with good park scenes kicking around. Try to name the best one or two in the region...
If someone has already said the resort that you like best, please enter in a vote of "I" for the resort!
Then I'm going to try to map all the cool parks around North America.

yea, obviously whistler, seymour does good for what they have, but their jumps arn't the best (lots of spots to build your own though)... (never skied the other north shore - or manning, so i can't really give an acurate 'best of' for the coast.
as for the kootneys, fernie's park is pretty good. but there's only like what 3 halfpipes in the whole provence. kinda bogus if you ask me.

Mt Baker does a great job for being mainly a big mtn kinda place. Tons of flow, alot of features, and on good years they have some pretty big stuff.

whistler for quality, seymour for scene. Last year manning was sick. way more shit than anyone but whistler, and no one in it. that also means no one to sesh with though.
I have to say, what the fuck is with the local mountains nowadays? hemlock used to be tight back in the day, more jumps then you could shake a stick at, then nothing. grouse was featured regualrly in films, now they suck ballz. seymours got dope ass rails as always so thats cool. but why in tehis time of crazy parkness, do they think they can slack.
i guess cypress is making a move though

well Grouse has done a good job in the past but this last season was horrible. Half of their rails didn't even get setup and they only had one decent jump for about a week. Blackcomb is obviously the best. Manning did a good job last season too.

even 2 years ago grouse had a dope park. granted last year was shitty snow, but what were they doing this year...other than sucking off asian tourists

manning's park was dope last year, especially after the jumps were upgraded for LOTP. plus you don't have to worry about landing on anyone that's crashed on the landing, because chances are that you're the only person in the park.

blackomb's park has been really disappointing for the past 3 seasons. some of the best rails are stashed in the forest all year, the lips onto rails are often whack, and the jumps have are inconsistent and not built in a manner that allows you to flow from hit to hit... eg. this year, bomb at shack, scrub for #2, slow way the fuck down on #3, and then pin it at #4. it is august 2nd and timberline has a better jump line (in their public glacier park) than the black park did all year.i won't even get started on the whistler park. and i will certainly not get started on the public park on the blackomb glacier, if you've been up there you know the sad, sad deal.

wrong about what? first of all graham, the best rails were stashed in the forest this season. the new westbeach fdfd was never put up this season, nor was the nintendo fdfup. anyone that rode whis or black parks this year saw whack setups onto rails.. the "50" footer in the black park often had such a small street steeze lip onto it that even snowboarders couldn't get onto it.. whistler had a whole fleet of rails stashed in between the two park lanes in the forest..
my description of the speed for the black park jumps is correct, i know because i hit them every day. so i'm not wrong about that.
i know that you don't have any idea what timberline's public jump line is like this summer. it is better than the black park's jump line at it's best this season. this is my opinion versus yours, and because you have no knowledge of timberline's jump line, your opinion doesn't count.
everyone that rode whistler's park this spring knows it was whack, and anyone that rode the glacier's public lane (that was surrounded by dope parks that the park staff rode instead of maintaining their own park) knows it was whack.
so what was i wrong about?

hey doug its kyle/kylie. heres my pick for the vancouver area, obviously whistler has it goin on but i love seymour. ive never had a bad day there. well accept during young guns, what a gong show. plus you know if young guns came to a mt they will have a sick park. ps there jumps the past 2 years did suck but afew years ago when they had jumps higher up the mt there jumps were super sick and there jibs are always super sick.

Seymour is fun.
Grouse can be fun sometimes.
Cypress is just ridiculous. Don't even think about going there.

blackcomb has Canada's best park. It is not shitty and the jumps do not suck. OF course it could be better, everything can always be better. But don't complain about the jump line because of a few small speed issues that can largely be blamed on changing snow conditions on random bads snow days, and not park maintenance or design.

im gonna have to collaborate with dbo on this one, black park was decent, but is wayyy overrated, especially since it "podiums" year after year. whistler park? oh...my...god...what...a...fucking...show...If they put half the amount of effort in to the black park that they put in to the bike park, we would all be throwing all 20 10's by now. and yeah, northshore shit bed in the worst way possible. Moral of the story...FUCK

well for some northshore mountains: seymour probably. home of the rails. and grouse is ok. but cypress has some good boxes to start for beginners (snowboarders) :D
