What's the best resort in the area?

I'm doing a bit of research here, if you guys don't mind helping!
I'm trying to find out which are the parks with good park scenes kicking around. Try to name the best one or two in the region...
If someone has already said the resort that you like best, please enter in a vote of "I" for the resort!
Then I'm going to try to map all the cool parks around North America.

Snoqualmie, then its probably Stevens. I didn't see white pass's or baker's this year, and mission's wasnt too impressive.

unless you are rich then crystal is all you care about, got some mail from them the other day for their great discounted pass prices, for me at 17years old it is well over $700. and if you live in the eastern part of the state 49' north is worth checking out and same with mission ridge, but no one lives out there any way.

Crystal is fucking amazing, and I would ski there had I the money for that pass. Bitches dont give out college discounts, what the hell is that...psshht. I really woulnt miss the park if I had all that wonderful BC.
Mission Ridge actually had a somewhat decent park last year, I was really suprised. They had a good sized quarter, a huge ass (and rediculously flat) hip, and a good line of tables. They had some rails near the bottom where it all flattened out, and actually had a wallride up the day I was there ontop of the quarterpipe. The park isnt nearly as long as it should be for such slow chairs however, and is in a terrible location, cause if you lose your speed your fucked for the lower half of the park.
But yeah, Mission is actually a pretty fun area, visit it next year if you get a chance. Be prepared for long and slow chairs though.

snoqualmie. But the park is the only nice thing about the entire mountain, so i can't stand skiing there for more than a day or two at a time.

I heard that they are putting in a new fast quad.

They did, its called"the liberator" and it kinda sucks. You still need to take a huge long slow chair to get to it, and it only feeds about %30 of the mountian. If you want a huge good run, or any BC, get ready for long slow chair rides.

a high speed quad is a substantial improvement over the previous chair. It was so slow, high up, and cold. Kind of like how barrier was, but it felt longer.

snoqualmie has the best park but that dosen't make them the best resort in the NW

well true, but this is Newschoolers, not, say, TGR. This is about park for the most part, not so much other terrain (although that is important)

Baker has the best powder, the most of it, and the best steeps. The only thing it lacks is the park in the beggining of the year, but once it's up its not that bad. Don't do its pipe though, it sucks balls.

snoquamie for park and pipe, baker for powder/steeps/cliff/bc. stevens is alright, kinda the all around mountain that has good variety, but is not great for any one thing.

I dunno, its a toss up for me between Crystal and Baker for BC. Crystal can be freaking amazing on a good powder day...

I ski white pass. and i love it. their park is nothing to brag about but they have a lot of natural stuff that is hella fun. but if you ever check it out don't expect anything great as far as the park thing goes.

uh i think if you talking about a true resort then Whistler or Bachelor would be tops on my list...also Mammoth is pretty decent as well...
All times are Eastern (-5)
