Making your own icons

im no computer 4@x0r so im wondering what is the best and easiest way to make your own icons? im sure its probably pretty simple and you can do it in paint or photoshop, but i thought it would be a good idea to have some step by step instructions that could be stickied for the benefit of all members.

Also, what ever happened to that site dedicated to icons that one of older members made? was it GhostDragon? is it still here somewhere on the site?

just use MS paint, not too hard

use ms paint, go to image, attributes, make it 50x50 pixels, draw what you want. thats how i made my stupid little icon, but i can see my posts so easy when im reading thread i reponded to.

damnit ill have my icon at 50x50 pixels then itl say to big can onlu be 4k in size er sumthin like that then i make it really small and it says neads to be 50x50 pixels how do i fix this?
