well the 8000mm products are pretty good in terms of not getting too wet surely not as waterproff/breatable as a gore tex xcr jacket but still a lot better then the old jackets.
I skied in rain with it with not much problems
i did not like their old stuff, especially in the east. It is fucking cold out here, you don't really need the water proof stuff. But if i am going to go ski in -30/-40/-50 weather ( Avila on Young Gun day last year) then i want shit that will keep me warm. I hope it is alot better for that.
i think 575% of the judges ( those crazy people that were staying in the cold and not moving at all ) in the avila YGO were wearing some sort of siver's puffy. Nobody froze except stupid cedric who was wearing race boots...
yea im an idiot but the clothes are warm enought if you buy them insulated.
haha c'est vrais, Iannick B pis tout le mount etait dans des sleeping bag parce'que y'avais trop froit. Sur la journee la, je mes haibiller avec mes salopette pis j'etais bien. Si tu avais pas de puffy, tu gel en criss.
i rocked the last years ten4 jacket and tactical pants all last summer and they were alright. they kept me warm on the 35+ days but anything colder and i was a little chillay! and i happen to remember a certain day vividly when it began to POUR out and just sitting on the chairlift up, puddles began to form on my crotch, so i guess the waterproofing is pretty good eh?
