for any of you have seen the post about ty in the ski grabber. I think it brings out some of the lamer sides of this websites overwelming attitude of the little rich kid who probably shreds and sits on the school computers arguing over the hollywooders of the ski industry. the username who started the post about Ty being underrated was conveniently created the day of the post so it's only tempting to think of who may have started it? (another person in the ski world seeking the creation of internet animosity only to get the satisfaction of laughing at all the kids posting all this hogwash) this is my 2 cents peace out. I am good homies with Mr Battersby and he loves skiing the most in life and having a good time. on another note I am moving back out to Utah the 13th of august and should have a house in the avenues with a few other fools.

Didn't read the thread in ski gabber, but here are my thoughts on the batterby boys. I've only run into the batterbys a few times and they've always seemed pretty cool guys with the dirtest mouths you can imagine. And there is no question that they have skills.
... BUT I have heard some stories about them that are true (the source of these stories are from friends of theirs) and they always make me shake my head in disgust. I won't go into any details but they certainly live up to the reputation of stupid ass park rats who think they are hot shit because they are in low budget ski movies.

the Avenues is actually one of the nicest neighborhoods for how close it is to downtown slc, and the U.

you guys all suck. stop talking shit on people because of where they ski. ty is a good person. so are a lot of people that ski park city. it is sad that people have to sit on the internet and talk shit in order to boost their confidence.
the way i look at it, if you have ski boods conected to bindings which are on skis, you are a skier, and you ski. it doesn't matter where that is, you are still skiing.
and just cause some people in here perhaps ski alta every day of the year in no way makes you a better person, skier, or even cool for that matter. the cool, good people are the ones who are friends with everybody and treat everybody with respect.
so why don't you all grow up and realize that you really aren't that cool.

I started the thread about Ty Fattersby... because I hate him!!
