When I was at the mac store the other day, one of the sale's people told me about a program that lets you have the windows operation system running while on your mac. So, basically, you can still use programs for pc while on your mac. Could anybody tell me what the name of this program is or maybe just a little more about it?
Macs and PCs are really similar. they both have shitty computers and they both have really good computers. I personally like Shake and Final Cut Pro and the Mac OS but some people prefer Adobe and the Windows OS so it comes down to preference.
They were designed for two different things...in the beginning >>>one had graphics in mind and the other had word processing in mind. They're operating systems stemmed from those simple desires and now they both can do whatever but the different languages excell at certain things...with that said they are always getting closer...oh and adobe and macromedia products have always been designed with the Mac user in mind...still is really...
I still don't get why you would want to run Windows on a Mac, besides being able to running boring Miscrosoft programs of course. OS is just so much better and easier to use and has been since the beginning. Running Windows on a Mac is a definite downgrade.
some web based programs run on internet explorer and have active x components. Even though you can run a mac version of explorer, some of the internet based apps won't work with mac os x.
i go to a public high school with about 1800 kids
all of which are getting new Mac laptops to check out for the whole year in september
..goood idea...
