i tried a few switch single fronts off a little BC kicker last season on a huge powder day. I kept underrotating and digging in my tails, but it was sooo much fun. We were trying sw backs, sw lincolns, all kinds of dumb stuff because you couldn't get hurt in the powder.
as an answer to your question, i've never seen anybody attempt a sw double front.
i saw some guy throw a switch double front in copper's park about 4 years ago (the last year it was on bouncer). he impacted too hard though and double ejected onto his face XD.
I think McConkey's one of the only skiers to have a switch front in a video seg way back in the day... my first switch invert was a switch front, but that was a long time ago. I should try one again sometime... switch front japan into pow would be pretty sick.
watch the jon olson video blog on the breckridge session/shop signing thing. it has adreas haviet (im terrible at spelling, i know) throwing a big switch front while jon throws a switch back. it sick, anyone who hasn't or doesn't remember it should watch it.
I can see how someone would do them, if you popped off switch fuckin hard off of the lip and just threw and tucked it, you could whip it off of a decent sized jump.
I think hatveit will be doing them, and well by the end of the year. After watching jon's video blog and seeing him there, I have no doubt we will be seeing them at some major comp this year.
