so once again i was watching the show and prove trailer and i know T-Hall is a great and inspiration skier but he dosent grab as well as he use to anybody else notice that.

You're kidding right? Tanner is soo consistant, soo stylie. He fucking first hit switch 9s on BC jumps. Not many people do that. Hes amazing at park too. Him and pep, two of the first, and two of the best, in park, pow, BC. End of story.

I'm pretty sure the creater of the thread was adressing that Tanner dosn't grab as long as he used to, and in responce to that I woud say that you should watch his segment in TBC.

i own Tbc but just seeing all his new footage shows that he dosent grab as much anymore but i agree he is getting better at all around skiing

tanner hall doesnt need to prove shit to anyone, and who cares if somekid doesnt htinks he grabs long enough, hes one of the best out there and has already proven himself numerous times so stop judgin him

ok this is rediculous. i completely agree with the creator. yeah he's amazing at everything, but for a community who stresses holding the grab for as long as possible, he really doesnt measure up. even i remeber in 1242, he does a switch 9 and holds the grab for 5, if that. same in TBC. it's not really a problem, i think it looks kinda cool sometimes, but you cant argue that he doesnt hold it very long.

Sometimes holding a grab for 720 of a 900 doesnt look as good? People are wayyy to comp oriented, just because you get more points for a longer grab, doesnt ALWAYS make it stylie. Now i tail or mute held long looks good, but say a critcal or truck driver, doesnt always, well to me, look as good.

in any footage you will see of tanner, his every movement is planned and executed. Look at his cab 10 off the money booter at x-games 2 years ago if you want to see a long-held grab. If tanner grabs for 180 of a 720 its because thats what he thinks looks best.

Kind of off topic but has T-Hall seemed kinda humbled since his crash. I mean he is doing that make a wish foundation thing and when they interviewed him at the Xgames he seemed not as much as a show off. I think his injury made him put perspective on things.

I would argue that Tanner Hall holds his grabs longer than almost everybody on 80-foot switch 9s in the backcountry. Maybe two or three people hold them longer, but that's generous.
