no, i agree with nmk, have you ever seen talking to americans? over half of high school students in the u.s couldn't tell you where france was on a map or where canada is even, they're so ignorant to anyone else, they don't realise that there is world outside of the u.s, i know this does not apply to all, but from what i've seen and heard and read it sure seems that way

Well i read the first few posts, and just skipped to the end to post this. To clear up the grammar issue, NMK was correct in his original statement. It should be 'There IS a small percentage' because percentage is the subject and is a singular noun.

who says canadians dont show pride? im currently wearing a tshirt that says team canada. and a bunch oh mooses playing hockey.. go figure the shirt is red and white too.. i can also sing my national anthem in both languages, and have done so in the sky dome. i even sang the american anthem..i pride myself in being canadian. and its 2 national languages as i am fluent in both.
