They suck. I have to get 2 teeth drilled in like 10 minutes. Sorry for the pointless thread, I just felt like saying hoiw much I hate them.

this is pretty discusting but i basically didnt brush my teeth till 5th grade. from that i used to get like5 teeth drilled every time i went there

wow that is pretty disgusting 5th grade i have neevr had a cavity yet and i eat alot of candy n shit but i do brush my teeth evreyday

you must be fuckin loaded then man...

anyways ive never had a cavity ever and i usually only brush my teeth like once (maybe twice if i remember) a day, and i dont use toothpaste.

I just learned that I need some fillings tomorrow. I'm 17 and I've never needed one before now. I'm pissed, if I never needed any in the last 17 years of my life, why now? Oh well. Does it hurt? I dont know what to expect.

^Getting a filling wont hurt if you get the novacaine in the right spot. They give you a shot of the shit and it numbs the whole area so you cant feel the drill or anything else including your tounge. One time I didnt get all the way numb and holy god that hurts but most of the time it wont happen. The worst part is being numb afterwords it feels really weird. I got two shots today at my 9am appt. and I was still numb at 2pm. Thats five hours without the left side of my face.

i'm deathly afraid of needles, but usually i don't feel much pain, but cavities hurt like fuck if you don't get the shot and are only on gas. nitrous doesn't do anything for me.

Some things dont work for some people. I know people who love the gas whatever it is, and my mom can never get fully numbed with the shot. It varies from person to person.
