Blockbuster/Late Fees.

Does Blockbuster still apply late fees, or have they stopped them all together after that campaign of no more late fees. I thought it was only for the time they marketed it....what's the deal?

I thought their late fee policy was to waive it for 2 weeks and then charge you the price of the movie after that.

just return it to a girl and say "hey, can you waive any late fees for me?  I kinda forgot about this one".. They're do it for me.

the one in my towwn must have brought back late fees. we have 30.00s mainly because of my parents they rented cinderella man and forgot it and my sister forgot about date movie.

I have the same problem as you taylor. I forgot about a movie that was 4 weeks old and finally brought it back but i just slipped it in the quick drop off cause i didn't want to deal with the peeps that work there. i havent gotten any fees yet or problems when trying to rent another movie

I do have netflix, this was just I needed something new that I hadn't seen quick when my girlfriend and I just stayed home one night. Already watched all the netflix and sent them out the next day. Netflix is a god send.

i have the movie pass from blockbuster, you have two movies out at a time, and can exchange them as often as you like, all for 25 bucks a month. i like it better than netflix

Well, good news. I went in today with the movie and a average young lady was working the counter....in my favor already....then I just asked her if there was any charges and if she could wipe them....If I had waited 6 more days I would have been charged 20 for the movie, regardless If I didn't lose it or not, but no fees and I'm fine.

ok so...theres this little movie store by my house. they've got decent prices (better then the big chain ones, blockbuster, hollywood video, etc) on rentals and all the latest, etc. BUT it seems i forgot to return this one movie for pretty much the entire summer (last year). so i get this letter in the mail saying they want $90 for it (the movie + late fees). ok screw that. so i walk down to the store, movie in hand and some bogus excuse (that probably wouldn't have worked) made up, to see if i can get the fees dropped. turns out one of my friends is working there. so she calls the manager, and he tells her all this stuff and i dont have to pay a cent. sweet.
