i just wanna say i finally learned backflips this season, yay...
but i broke my collerbone last friday when i slid (on my stomach, head first) into a group of snowboarders sitting on the landing, which broke my collerbone. the point of this is, i was wondering how long it usually takes for a collerbone to heal, and will i get back to skiing and learning new shit, thanks for any responses

when I broke my collar bone, it took me 8 - 10 eeks to fully heal. But then again, I had a clean break and I was skiing after 4 weeks and I reinjured it mildly a couple times.
So if you do your exercises and take it easy, it shouldn't be more than 6 weeks.

my friend broke hie collar bone playing hockey. he was back playing again in about 4 weeks (i think) but he just re-broke the same one, so take it easy if you go back out skiing after a couple weeks.

Funny how massive corporations and media giants like NBC refuse to support new skiing events like big air and big mountian, yet they use the latter's image to enhance their own. Actually, not so funny. Suck it, NBC.

I ski with Pete Proos alot and he seriously broke his collar bone twice last season. He would just ski really easy on it and slowly start to go bigger. It took him awhile before he was hitting real big jumps though.
